Same day access – GP Triage Hub, launching 10th July 2023

At E16 Health (Albert Road Surgery & Pontoon Dock) we are excited to introduce our new approach to offering patients same day access to our clinical team.

The easiest way to have a consultation is via our Dr. iQ mobile app. We encourage all patients to download the App via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on their mobile phones.

We know that many patients have used Dr. iQ before. Our new GP Triage Hub is designed to keep Dr. iQ open longer each day so we can be more available to respond to your needs.

Our GP Triage Hub service means that when you request an appointment, our on-call GP will review the request and respond on the same day.

Please check that you have the Dr. iQ app setup to allow notifications so we can smoothly communicate with you once we have reviewed your request.

We have designed a how-to guide to help you use Dr. iQ and to access our services more conveniently.

However you choose to contact us, your request will be reviewed by our on-call GP as soon as possible. They will decide the best way for us to meet your needs. This may mean booking you an appointment with the GP, another member of our clinical team, our community pharmacy colleagues or another service. Please answer the questions presented on the Dr. iQ app as best you can so that we can support you effectively.

For patients wishing to contact the practice by telephone or in-person, you can continue to do so. Our medical reception team will take information about your condition and pass this to our on-call GP who will decide the best way for us to meet your needs.

We aim to deal with all requests for appointments on the same day of request.
